Pedagogy is the study or scientific methods of teaching. It is an important discipline for teaching and learning. a teacher, in the true sense has to acquire relevant pedagogical knowledge and master related teaching method and techniques before he or she can teach competently and with full of confidence.
The word pedagogy was derived from the Greek word pedagogue which carries the meaning of a strict orthodox teacher in ancient Greek.
